✨ Phoenix, AZ • Certified Rabbit Groomer
House-call & salon rabbit grooming by Kelly — a certified groomer & retired RN with 13 years of bunny love. Bring me your dirty bunnies, I LOVE them!
Hello bunny friends, my name is Kelly and I am a bunny lover and groomer. I've been working with buns for 13 years and had an 18-bun rabbitry. I knew that I wanted to be working with buns forever. I studied everything I could get my hands on — lots of vet textbooks! Now I have 4 of my own bunnies and the grooming keeps me in the bunny world.
I am a rabbit certified groomer and a retired RN, so I look at lots of things you don't know I'm checking: flea dirt, eye and ear problems, lumps, bumps, abscesses — especially on the jawline and feet. I check for sore hocks, poopy butt, urine stained feet, urine scald, scent gland build-up, and of course a deshedding!
Why does a rabbit need all of this? Worst case scenario: if they swallow too much hair it will clog the GI tract and cause GI Stasis. Urine scald and sore hocks can lead to bone infection and deadly sepsis.
I am always looking for ways to improve and expand our services, incorporating best practices. Your suggestions are always welcome! My goal is to become the go-to pet rabbit groomer specializing in cases of urine scald and poopy butt, and a Rabbit Consultant in the Phoenix area and beyond.
Located inside A Dog Refined Salon at 12450 N. 35th Ave., Suite 65, Phoenix — available Sundays, Mondays & weekdays after 5pm.
A true spa experience: music, aromatherapy, dry bath, candles, massage — plus brush out, haircut, nails, scent glands, ears, sanitary trim & health assessment.
Book This
Nail trim, clean scent glands, grooming powder, health assessment, possible sanitary trim, comb out (non-matted bun), possible face trim.
Book ThisEven outgrown nails can become a big problem if not done every ~12 weeks. It causes bunny to hop unevenly and develop sore hocks that can lead to infection.
Book ThisTreatment includes very effective products — included in price! Poopy butt needs determination of its origin and can lead to serious infections. I can work with you to clear it up.
Book ThisMats and pelts are very painful to your rabbit. They are in constant pain and will never express their true personality. Cost depends on severity. Some mats can be combed out; others need to be shaved.
Book ThisMost people know that rabbits are not to be bathed. So unlike a dog or cat grooming, I do not bathe during the grooming. Also, fragrances & essential oils are not tolerated or are toxic to rabbits. So as much fun as it would be to give you a sweet-smelling bunny — I can't!!
